DT Deni Christmas

Good Morning Everyone,

Dt Deni here this morning to share a Christmas Card with you all.

For my card today I have gone with more soft tones and more of a traditional look.

I have used a stamp set from My Favorite Things called "Merry Everything". I have stamped the images on Mondi Color Copy using Memento Tuxedo Black and Lawn Fawn Acrylic Blocks. I have used the co-ordinating dies to cut the images out on my Sizzix Big Shot.

I have coloured all the images using Copic Markers, I have added a little wink of stella to them to add some life and sparkle.

Kaisercraft Silver Bells 6.5" paper pad was used for the pattern papers. I used a Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle to cut one piece of patterned paper and i used the Large square die from MFT Blueprints 8 to cut another.

I have used Tombow Mono Multi to attach my die cuts and my Scotch ATG to attach all the layers to my Twiddleybitz Card base. To finish my card off i have a big red nose to the reindeer using Nuvo Crystal Drops in Red Berry. I have also added snow by using Nuvo Crystal Drops in Gloss White.

DIY Gift Bags

Merry Christmas Everyone!
Its Tracey here today sharing some DIY Gift bag ideas using "Gabi's stitched circle and square stamp set"

Lets start with a close up

The bags were made from everyday printing paper. I determined the size of the bag, then joined the seam together with washi tape. I used a variety of stamps to created the gingham, circle and word collage tags. The red tags with hearts were die cut. I made the bow using We R memory keepers envelope punch.

I had lots of packaging and bags after doing my christmas shopping last week....before  throwing anything out, I think about what I can
re-purpose. These handles were cut from another bag!

I hope this gives you a few ideas.......don't buy gift bags, have fun with your stamps and DIY

Christmas decorating

Merry Christmas to you!
Its Tracey back with you today , to share decorations I made for my tree.
This is what I started with......metal lids from jars and Tim Holt tiny brush Christmas trees.

Ta da!
Love how these turned out!

I searched Pinterest for "Free" Vintage images. I wanted a scene that the trees could become a part of. How perfect are these! To start..... I used a crop-a-dile to punch two holes in the top of the lid to thread ribbon for hanging!
After glueing the pictures to the lid, I covered the entire lid in glue then rolled them in glitter. I coloured the trees with Heidi Swapp colour shine....they have a real shimmer. White paint for a dusting of snow .....while it was wet I dipped the trees in glitter and added a few pearls. Also I added a few large pearls for snow balls :) A chip board leaf, twine , ribbon and a few bells. The white trim around the edges is a really small tinsel........maybe used for wrapping gifts I think?

Happy Creating

DT Deni - Happy Christmas

Good everyone,

DT Deni here today to share a non traditional colours Christmas card.

Our theme this month is red&green/Christmas, I have decided to make a Christmas card but to challenge myself and use non traditional colours so I have gone with pink and Kraft.

I received all the blueprints I didn't already have in a package from Auzz Trinklets a couple of weeks ago so decided to have a play with those while I was putting them away today. I have used Blueprints 24 to cut my rectangle, banner, stars, circle and the tabs, as well as the sentiment strip. I cut them out using my Sizzix Big Shot.

I have used Color Copy Mondi for my white pieces and also for the stamped images. The patterned papers are from Pebbles Ever After.

I have use Canson, American Krafts and Kaisercraft for all the matting.

The word hello is cut using American Krafts Kraft cardstock. Holidays is stamped using Memento Desert Sand using an acrylic block from Lawn Fawn.

The Reindeer image is from Avery Elle North Pole Pals, it is stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black and die cut using the matching dies.

I have added some Nuvo crystal drops in Autumn Red to the stars just to bring a little more red into the card.

I have then attached all the layers to a card base from Twiddleybitz using My Stik Adhesive.. I normally use my ATG but I am out of refills at the moment and need to do an order. I have added wink of Stella clear glitter brush to the nose and the Stars just for that finishing touch.

The image was stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black on Xpress it blending card and coloured using Copic Markers.

DT Tracey

Hey Everyone,  I have a simple layout to share today using "Strips and Stripes" the November theme.
The paper at the top has stripes .....below the photo I added a strip of paper gathered it up , then machine stitched across the top of it.

I've used inks to create the water coloured background along with some stamping using 'Altenew vintage flowers and Gabi's circle stitch stamp set. The colours are very pale....they don't show up that well in the photos.
Enjoy your weekend

DT Deni - November Challenge Strips and Stripes

Good Morning Everyone!

DT Deni here,

Today I am showing you the card I have made using a stamp from Gerda Steiner called Deck the Halls. This month we are playing with strips and stripes, I have added a sentiment strip, a strip of extra patterned paper, zig zag stripes paper. Oh and the sentiment which is all striped :-)

To start with I prepared my stamp by rubbing it on my hands to remove the stickiness from the stamp, this allows the ink to apply evenly to the stamp and not all blotchy.
I attached the stamp onto an acrylic block from Lawn Fawn, I then applied some Memento Tuxedo Black to the stamp and stamped it onto Mondi Color Copy 250gsm. I clean my stamps off just using wet baby wipes.

I cut all my layers from a Kaisercraft 6.5" Paper Pad called Santa's List, the base layers are from American Crafts Christmas Paper Pad. All of these were cut on my Caterpillar Pro, and attached using Scotch ATG.
I cut the image out using a Stitched Circle die from Lawn Fawn, the sentiment strip is also cut from a Lawn Fawn Die - Extra Sentiment Banners.
I coloured the image using Copic Markers (list below) and added Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush. I did add a few extra layers to make it nice and glittery.

Last of all once everything was attached i then attached it to a card base from Twiddleybitz.

Strips and Stripes for November

Hi ,
Its Tracey here.........Can you believe its November already! This month the Design Team  is creating with the theme
"Strips and Stripes"
I have used three strips of pattern paper as a background layer behind the photo, fringing them at the bottom.

To add more dimension to the layout I die cut flowers and leaves similar to the ones on the background paper.  I really enjoy making my own paper flowers.........inking, shaping them and adding Stamens. It might take a little more time but it can save you lots of money! I covered parts of the leaves in glue then dipped them in a chunky gold glitter.

Auzz Trinklets N Kraft have the best selection of Stamens for all your handmade creations....the photo below is just a few that I have, but there are so many more , all shapes, sizes and colours. Be sure to check them out in the store.

I've used large pearl stamens on the flowers below.

Purple & Pretty

Hello, its Tracey here.......I'm back to share a few cards that I created for the October theme Halloween Colours.

The center of the card features a black frame that I made using moulds from Auzz Trinklets N Kraft and
Wow Melt-it embossing powder. It is so easy to do.....you can custom make embellishments to suit your project. For the frame I mixed the melt-it powder with black embossing powder. Here is a link to a great tutorial from You Tube go HERE
For my next card.......its purple, not Halloween but it features a pretty butterfly......I mixed the melt it powder with purple embossing powder.

Be sure to check out the store to see the fabulous range of coloured embossing powders.

Life is Beautiful

Hello Everyone.....Its Tracey here to share my first project for October.
Our Theme this month is "Halloween Colours"
I had lots of fun creating this layout with "Spring Daisies" Altenew stamp set.

I used the outline daisy stamp with Versamark to stamp all over white card stock, then I heat embossed it in Black.
The flowers were coloured with water colour paints.  I cut a strip for the background then fussy cut the remainder of the flowers.
Lastly  a few of my favorite things to embellish......Shaker sequin mix, buttons, crochet doilies and some cute 'Flairs'

Happy Creating :)

October - Halloween Colours - DT Deni I Miss Your Face

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to October, this month the Design Team are playing with Halloween Colours on the blog.
Since a lot of us in Australia don't celebrate Halloween we thought why not just go with the colours.. so doesn't have to be anything halloweeny as such.

I couldn't help myself but create a Halloween Card since i love making them :-) But since i don't usually sell a lot of them i decided to make it into a card to send to one of my friends.. i thought shed get a kick out of it.

I have used a few different My Favorite Things stamp sets on this card as i had a few bits and bobs already cut on my desk. My main inspiration image for this card came from the Frightful Friends (2016 halloween release). Everything else sort of fell together around the card.

The images are all coloured using Copic Markers.. i do not have a list this time around as all the images were leftovers from previous cards. As always they were stamped on Mondi Color Copy using Memento Tuxedo Black. (You can use x-press it or nena or whatever you preferred cardstock for colouring is)

Products Used On This Card - Most of these products were purchased from Auzz Trinklets N Krafts

My Favorite Things Frightful Friends
My Favorite Things Magical Dragons
My Favorite Things Farm-tastic
The Craft Stall Mini Stack
My Favorite Things Stitched Fishtail Stax
Lawn Fawn Stitched Circles
W Plus 9 That Is All Stamp Set
Memento Tuxedo Black
Tombow Mono Multi
Fiskars Scissors
Scotch ATG
Collected & Co Fluro Yellow Washi
Lawn Fawn Acrylic Blocks
Twiddleybitz Card Base
Mondi Color Copy
Copic Markers.

I hope you guys have enjoyed my blog post today, feel free to leave a comment below. You can find all my cards for sale on my Angel Handmade Papercraft Facebook page

DT Ness - October - Halloween Colours.

Hi all DT Ness here again...

some might say I am organised with another post in 2 days, but those who know me will know that I am just trying to catch up since I am sooo unorganised. Anyway we were set the theme of "Halloween colours" this month.

For this project I decided to use my black Dylusions journal, dylusions paint, Stampbotique stamps, Prima Artisan powders and fusible webbing.

Fusible webbing is something you can pick up at Spotlight quite cheap. Using a heat gun it melts onto your page like a spiders web. You can melt embossing powder with it so your web is whatever colour of your powder. I didn't have black embossing powder, so after melting the webbing I brushed with Primas Artisan powder.

Hope you enjoyed my project

DT Ness - Sept - Boys will be Boys.

Hi everyone...DT Ness back again...

another "boys will be boys" post, this one pushed me abit so I decided to do a scrap page.

I mixed some blue mica powder with texture paste, and did some background stamping with the white Ranger Ink stamp pad, and flicked some white dylusions spray and blue Prima Spray on the background.
